What we believe
We believe that there is one God, known in three persons: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit. We believe that the church is the body of Christ; salvation comes through a new birth, consisting of repentance of sin, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. A Christian is one who is saved by Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is practiced, by immersion only, and is not necessary for salvation. It is very important, symbolic of faith, and required for membership. Salvation is by grace, through faith, both of which are the gift of God. Every saved person is welcome to partake of the Lord's Supper. Every Christian should be a witness for Christ. We believe that our mission should include the local community, and extend to the ends of the earth. The Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. It is our text book, and the only message we have to preach. No other word, or book is to be added to this Word of God.
